Marmoleum adhesives are state of the art products that can solve moisture problems and make a marmoleum floor as permanent as could be, the tile systems come in two thicknesses for two distinct uses… thicker "dual" for residential installations in a whole rainbow of colors and "mct" commercial tile installations in more muted colors where regular re-coating and maintenance are more common and a thinner tile is acceptable. Often called inlaid linoleum or roll goods, this old fashioned "lino" is the real deal with some 21st century twists. This incredibly resilient and tough product is usually installed by Forbo trained professionals. We love it so much, that is all we sell here at CoolGreenFloors. Not many people know that marmoleum is the original marbleized linoleum floor product and has been around for over 150 years. It's wonderful track record as a flooring says something about natural products. The flax seed that makes linseed oil is the principal ingredient in Forbo’s marmoleum and it is the same flax seed that people take to help their bodies stock up on Omega III fatty acids. The natural stone dusts and tints and jute that make up the product are all a testimony to Forbo’s heritage as a green company. It is one of our all time favorite products.
